I applied online. I interviewed at Informatica (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2022
Interview
lengthy process, with three 45 mins interview and a presentation interview. The last interview with senior management is a joke, when you are giving presentation, they are not open to listening but have a hard template which they don't share and to expect interviewee to know is so immature on part of the leadership.

Question 1
the first three scenario based interview was great, it was the interview with the management that was not good. The expectation of leader behavior was quite shocking and especially for the role being interviewed, you would expect the leaders to understand the other view points as well.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Informatica (Novi, MI)
Interview
The interview process was not very professional. First, I was grilled in first round interviews by a technical person when I was interviewing for a non-technical role. By time I got to the third round of interviews, I was asked to put together a mock customer presentation. I did so following the prompts provided. Then at the start of my presentation, one of the interviewers critiqued the topic as though I made it up myself, even though it was literally one of four choices provided by the recruiter. So very poor communication between recruiting and interviewers. After investing a significant amount of time in the interview and presentation preparation process (at least 12 hours), they pulled a bait and switch and offered me a regular Customer Success Manager role instead of the Senior role I’d been interviewing for from the beginning, even though one of the VPs I interviewed with told me flat out I was one of the most polished and qualified candidates she’d ever interviewed. They made an offer, but the role was offered to me at $40k less than I was initially told would be offered, which is also $40k less than I said I would need to make a switch from my current role. Why waste everyone’s time? The final straw was that I asked for feedback as to why they were not willing to offer the senior role anymore, and the recruiter ghosted me and was never able to give me an answer. All in all, a waste of time and a highly unprofessional and disjointed interview process.
Interviewers showed up late, disinterested, and overall rude at times. Communication was extremely slow and kept adding additional requests. Advice, if you are interested in a candidate, make that impression.
