I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ingram Micro (Manila, Manila) in Oct 2022
Interview
I was reached out by an executive search agency then had a meeting with the recruiter of the company. When she explained the role, I immediately said that it must be a mismatch since I was not informed that they were looking for a specific tech stack. Instead of dropping the meeting immediately since I already admitted I am not what they're looking for, she then went on to tell me along the lines of how dare I ask for XXX amount when I don't have the required experience. She said it 3 more times as if rubbing it on my face that I should be asking for an entry level position and salary. For context, I am already in a senior position and would just want to change into a different specialization. She even asked twice why I wanted to change as if telling me to stay in my current place. The last most insulting thing she told me was that if ever I exhausted all options and still did not get a job, to come back to her so she can try and consider me for a job title that I clearly stated I am not interested in.
