I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Insight (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2010
Interview
Very laid back interview process. They call you and see if you can put a sentence together without choking. If you manage, they will call you in for a face-to-face interview. Sit you down and ask you to fill out a short questionnaire asking about basic IT questions. Which is the latest version of windows, name three major IT companies etc..they don't really care if you can't do it too well. A manager or senior employee comes in, depending on who is free at the time. Kind of round Robin the process and they get a feel for you and pretty much with that quota(~25 every few months) your chances of getting hired are high. Then it's bang into training.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What's the latest version of Windows(not really difficult)
Insight recruiter reached out via Indeed. Took the opportunity to interview, rather unprofessional as the recruiter seemed willfully unprepared but asked standard questions in regards to sales experience. After first contact offered to meet with hiring manager at office location
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight (Bristol, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
first stage with HR, general questions, going over CV, company info. Second stage with a sales manager and sales director, detailed questions about CV, sales cycles, strategies. Personal questions as well.
The interview process was a phone interview first. Than a in person one. They wanted to know about my experience and strengths. They did make me leave a voice mail. I doubt they make you do that anymore though.
