I applied online. I interviewed at Intuit in Feb 2014
Interview
As pointed out by at least a few people here the interview process and subsequent feedback for this company leaves a lot to be desired. In fact I am just going to copy and paste what one fellow interviewee wrote for my same exact role:
"As another person mentioned.....ITS REALLY ANNOYING THAT YOUR RECRUITERS ON NON-RESPONSIVE. This is the most unprofessional company I have worked with. Weeks went by with no reply to emails. If you're looking for a company who keeps its candidates in the dark and waste their time then this is the company for you.
Otherwise I recommend applying to other companies who have a better recruiting system in place and who know how to behave in a professional manner.
Come on Intuit, get it together. Your recruiters suck."
As a matter of fact its been a few weeks and I have already started with another job. I never received any response response back from the recruiters. Apparently it is very difficult to email YES or NO or WAIT A FEW DAYS. I dont even know the interview outcome to record here. Its basically like calling and emailing a blackhole.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were not really difficult. Very standard behavioral questions and a light business case. I am not even sure how they distinguish between different candidates with such simple questions.
Ghosted, after putting in so much time and effort. I don't think that there is any excuse for ghosting candidates, after multiple follow ups. Its understandable that sometimes situations might have changed, say the role is being put on hold. But the least one can do is to acknowledge that they are working on providing an update.
There is a high level of accountability problem across the board for recruiters these days. They have one job (literally there is someone else for scheduling).
I won't be naming names, but what goes around comes around. After all Its a small recruiters' market.

Question 1
Generic Product interview questions e.g. Fav product, what will you improve.
Some Qs specific to the role as well.
Respectful, challenging, expecting previous experience in the area. Understanding of processes and common challenges, with real examples. Discussions based on description of real scenario situations. Very senior people working and interviewing candidates.

Tell us about a product that you like, which feature is missing and why.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
A recruiter on Linkedin reached out about a specific role. I had a 30 minute screening interview with questions around experience and career goals. I was asked to do an urgent interview with the hiring manager the same day. I did not hear back after, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Pretty rude after accommodating their schedule.
