I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J. Crew (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied Wednesday, received the call for the interview Friday. Interviewed the next Wednesday, and received an offer the same day. The interview was really chill, the store wasn't busy so it was conducted on one of the floor couches. It was really chill and to the point. I really love J. Crew and have wanted to work for them forever, so the answers came really naturally for me.

What is good customer service?
What is bad customer service?
The managers were all very direct and concise. I appreciated getting an answer after my interviews as well. I felt they were courteous and professional, even when they were pressed for time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here? How long is your previous experience? Why are you leaving your current employer? Are you willing to work odd hours, or overnights?
Was a lot more casual and friendly than I had expected! Wasn’t very long either but definitely felt more like a conversation between us. Afterwards I was almost worried I didn’t stay serious enough or if I should have just went ahead and answered questions I wasn’t asked to know I was serious.

Question 1
Describe yourself., Why do you want to work for J Crew?, Where do you see yourself going from here?
Really stuck up store, did not seem interested in me or my experience at all. Pushy managers just not a good vibe. Easy questions but they weren't even about visuals
