Very weird manager that came and stood over me, without introducing himself, whilst I was sitting on one of the seats on the shop floor filling out the preliminary interview form, he was standing very close literally 5cm away and his crotch was next to my head, I felt very uncomfortable. Interview Process was mid, not sure why they even needed to hire another visual merchandiser , they already had one working at that store full time and apparently they couldn’t keep up with the workload? The store is not that big at all. They seemed very desperate to hire but did not want to budge even an ounce on the minimum wage salary £6.56 !

Just general questions like what is visual merchandising to you , why do you think it’s important etc , the first question i got asked was “what is visual merchandising” lolll unbelievable

Casual and questions were very adequate . Very laid back and relaxed environment , It was a good experience and i enjoyed discussing future prospects of the role with the manager

Contacted to arrange interview, and then interviewed in store. Was asked for references and then everything went silent afterwards for nearly 2 weeks. Had to follow up and then officially declined.
