After submitting my CV, I was invited to the first online interview (via Zoom) lasting about 30 minutes where I was asked 2 technical questions (EV question involving summing the upface of a dice over multiple rolls & optimal strategy question involving EV)

Question 1
The first was a EV question (which I didn't realise they actually wanted me to estimate rather than find the exact answer) and the second was a two-player game where I was asked to find the optimal strategy
I was qualified for the first round of the interview proccess. I was asked about the reasons why i want to become a Quant and why i applied in Jane street for this role. After I was asked two probability questions. The interviewer was ok but at some moments I wasn't sure if she was following my thoughts

Mainly I failied since I tried to give them a strict answer to one of the problems(which was impossible to calculate in this time) and the wanted to hear some intuitive approach which leads to approximately correct answer.
they spend a lot of time trying to understand your thought process. the interview question use simple scenarios and build from them to more complex ones to understand how you handle adversity

Interview
First three rounds are probability and game theory questions then the onsite is trading games, coding and data science interviews as well as a behavioural interview. The interviewers were very nice and the HR department was very timely everything was organised very well.
