      Flight Attendant Interview

      15 Jul 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JetBlue (New York, NY) in Jul 2016

      Interview

I applied in April and had my face to face in July. I completed the in flight questionnaire. Remember to be consistent with your selection from the choices given, a lot of the questions are the same asked differently. The video interview- You do not get many opportunities to practice so make the chance count I believe you are asked 4 questions to which you need to respond in the STAR format. Make your answers personal, pull from your customer service experiences and share Invite to the face to face was sent and you get to select the date that's most suitable to you from what is offered and you also get to select your location Jet blue is very good with communicating what you are to bring with you and how you are to dress. They will not provide transportation to take part in the face to face interview. Be certain to walk with all that you were asked to bring because the documents are required Interaction from the recruiters occurs as you enter the building, you are shown to a room, asked to take a seat, asked to show your passport and documents to verify you can live and work in the US, sign in and you also receive a name tag Please do not just sit around the table, mingle, smile, and repeat All the candidates are taken to a room along with the recruiters, there is a welcome speech, the recruiters introduced themselves and then there was the group exercise. ( you are divided into groups) The group exercise was amazing- yes recruiters are assigned to your table to observe how you function/interact in a group. Allow others to speak to the end. Do not shoot down others thoughts/ ideas without fully listening etc. Behave as if you are a team. Videos were shown and an over view of the job, salary, information on reserve etc Fingerprinting took place There was a debrief ( make certain you have a copy of your resume), reach test and you will have to read a speech. Then there is the face to face interview ( make certain you have a copy of your resume), be your self, smile, listen and follow instructions. Make sure you make the answers to the question yours. Use examples from your customer service experiences. Use Glass door to prepare, research the company. Know what you are speaking about. Appearance- Please please please the guidelines sent by Jet Blue is very straight forward and easy to follow as it relates to appearance. A clean well fitting suit, stockings, comfortable, classic and court shoes, not very high heels. Put nail gloss on your nails even if you do not use nail polish. Wear make up- but do not be over done. Wear red lipstick, powder, mascara, eyeliner. Wear your hair in a classic low bun, wear simply stud earring ( I suggest pearls). walk with your make up to do re touching. ( it will be a long day, yes the shine will appear) The recruiters makes you feel very welcome and comfortable, again just be yourself. You are trying to get a job and they are doing their job to make that happen. it was a very positive experience for me I am still awaiting for their response whether yay or nay. Either way I cannot say anything bad about my experience throughout this process. I checked no offer as I am awaiting a response, interview was last week

All good . Great experience . Been with JetBlue for three years . I was nervous going into the interview but they had a way of making me feel comfortable enough to give off my best. It lasts the whole day so it can be draining.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at JetBlue (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2025

      Interview

I applied online October 1st, 2025 at about 10:30am EST and was sent the video interview and assessment with games on October 9. I was working a lot so I had to wait to do a bit of research and complete it. I submitted my VI on Oct 14 (one day before it expired) and received my TBNT inside my B6 profile on the 15th. I know I didn't look into the camera enough, smile enough. Also the assessment was afterwards and it was a series of pictures that were in sets of 2. You choose which one is closest to your personality. I know you're supposed to be yourself in these things and I started answering what I thought hey wanted instead, which is where I went wrong. I'm a very creative person with a degree in art, yet when it came to questions like that, I chose the opposite, thinking they didn't want this. Later, I realized they do want creativity. But I cannot stress enough how you need to be yourself in these things assessment. Answer from the heart about how you really are. No wonder I got the dreaded TBNT! I don't blame them. I wish I could redo it, but my interview skills are way out of practice having worked for the same airline for years now. After the assessment, there were 3 games where you had to repeat a series of letters/numbers. Sounds easy, but I promise you it was much harder than you'd think. And also choose the shapes that were the same in a group.
