I applied online. I interviewed at Johns Hopkins Health System in Aug 2022
Interview
I applied for a position and was contacted within about a week from the date of submission. I had the first interview by Zoom, and that went very well. The hiring manager was very personable; she asked standard questions and went over the benefits offered. I was contacted the following day to have a two subsequent interviews within a week with the team and the leadership via Zoom. I sent a thank you message after all of the interviews (no one acknowledged any of them) and after about 1 week, I sent a follow up email and asked if I was still being considered for the role.
I never heard back from anyone, not even to notify me, on whether or not they chose another candidate. As an HR professional with many years of experience, I will tell you that this is a poor reflection of customer service. Respect is due to a dog. Suffice to say, an automated system message or response would have been fine.
Many reviews acknowledge the amount of turnover and mismanagement within this organization, and perhaps my experience coupled with the others, signifies a call to action for leadership to address these issues.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Johns Hopkins Health System (Glen Burnie, MD) in Feb 2011
Interview
Applied on line to several open positions. Was called for a phone and in person interview. After long wait was offered higher position. Besides the long wait for a decision overall the process was just fine.
