I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Justworks (New York, NY) in Dec 2021
Interview
What a waste of time. The role has nothing to do with the job posting. They are not looking for someone with strong interest in project / program management, preferably in a software development environment. It is an account /customer success role to renew health insurance/health benefits.
The recruiter was cryptic and did not answer specific questions. Second question what my salary requirements are? No introduction, nothing about the role or responsibilities, didn’t answer actual question and said to save for next round.
Two hours of interviews, with 4 team members asking the same questions. I asked the hiring manager about the company clients, told me to google it. Very disconnected/disinterested.
The selection process was so highly competitive the position was reposted 20 minutes after I received my rejection email. After 5 interviews I received no feedback.
The process was a phone screen with recruiter followed by 2 interviews (1 w/ eng lead, 1 w/ HM), ending with a case study deliverable w/ onsite presentation and workshop facilitation. The onsite was challenging but not due to product skills. Although the prep email claims that interviewers will have pre-read the presentation, that didn't seem to be the case. One interviewer asked lots of questions, making it very hard to stay on track for time. Interviewers took notes and whispered to one another while I presented. At the end, when I asked a question about in-office policies, the same interviewer refused to answer. I really enjoyed my talks with engineering and the hiring manager but the onsite made me feel deeply disrespected as a candidate and human being.

Question 1
Tell me about your best relationship with an engineering partner?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Justworks
Interview
Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. 30min screen, immediately through to next round. Behavioural interview with Hiring Manager - pick a project, dig in. Through to presentation and live case study round with panel of senior Tech leaders. Again pick a project, present about it. Then a generic unseen case study where you had to come up with ideas live. Didn’t love the format of the last interview and didn’t move any further along in the process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Justworks (New York, NY) in Feb 2023
Interview
Three stages: phone screen with recruiter, interview with manager, and two panel interviews and a presentation about a project I worked on in the past. The process took a little over a month long.
The recruiter was very responsive and willing to answer all my questions.
