I had to pass four levels
1. getting to know each other
2. submit the results of a coding task (via some online tool)
3. technical interview (multiple hours with breaks)
4. final interview with the founder
They required two writing samples along with the cover letter and CV. It took me hours to prepare the application package only for them to send me a template rejection email in the end. If you are not giving feedback/reasons for rejection , then don't require candidates to put that much effort in the application and ask for writing samples at a later stage. This is disrespectful to the candidates' time.
The whole process moved at great pace with no delays. From application submission to initial screening call took one week. Very knowledgeable and polite recruiter. No curveballs re line of questioning. It was along the lines of the standard ... recounting your experience and highlighting how it makes you a suitable candidate.
