I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at King's College London (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
first submit a 10 min research video introducing research outcomes, research vision and future research proposal, then 15 min online QA with colleagues, plus 45 mins formal interview with the interview panel.
Straight forward and insightful interview process with the university. the panel had good questions and engaged with my answers. they also provided an opportunity to answer my questions at the end.
One interview with presentation and technical questions specific to the research field. Panel of four senior members. Questions can be challenging but panel was friendly. Some questions about experience in managing junior staff, teaching experience and collaborations.

Question 1
Many but the one asking how I have dealt with conflict in the workplace stood out for me.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at King's College London (London, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
Submitted my application on 16 Jan. Was shortlisted and invited for interview on 17 Mar. Interview was on 17 April. Outcome communicated on 21 April. The interview process was two parts: (a) 15min presentation via Teams to the departmental staff on a set topic and (b) a 40 min interview with a 5 min presentation on my research and teaching. The departmental presentation was OK although staff were a bit hostile. The interview was a bit more pleasant although the external members on the panel were not engaged. From both parts, I got the impression that KCL doesnt seem to be a friendly and inclusive environment.
