I applied online. I interviewed at Kirk Roberts Consulting (Christchurch, Canterbury)
Interview
Started quite normal (the usual questions like "why are you interested in working for us?", "why do you want to change employers?", but when it got to the nitty-gritty of discussing remuneration and roles titles suddenly they were saying I was a graduate "at best" (even with 5 years experience) and my salary expectations as discussed with their HR person prior to the interview were unrealistic. When I questioned this the interview was very quickly ended and that was that. I was told I would be given a response within a week and when I got in contact 2 weeks later I was told to follow up a third time a week later again to get an answer from them. All in all, pretty poor form. Don't ask someone to interview for a senior/intermediate position and then try to knock down their confidence and make them accept a lesser role than advertised.

Interview
The team leader is very friendly, I did feel nervous. And they asked me some questions. For example, Which course do u like? What's your expected salary? The interview time is about 30 mins
I applied online. I interviewed at Kirk Roberts Consulting (Tauranga, Bay of Plenty) in Nov 2019
Interview
3 Interviews.
First was a review of previous history and overview of career and personal background
Second was Behavioural based interview but with a practical test thrown in with no notice or preparation prior to interview... Fortunately I'm experienced enough to enjoy and excel at that type of think on your feet scenario, apparently I smashed it. It was to review an 18 page proposed Annual Marketing Plan draft select one of six sections proposed for high activity and say what I would accept and why; what I would reject and why and what else could I add separate to the proposal that would add value and benefit the company too within the many multi-channel marketing options, both Traditional Marketing Media and Digital platform formats.
The third interview was by Skype to the Chief executive Officer and Director, plus another Director with me and the Operations Manager at a third office by Skype. This was a "how confident can you be" dealing with Senior Executives and diverse personnel to give answers using past experiences which would benefit Kirk Roberts across the 5 different disciplines, now and into the future talking directly to questions from the CEO.
