I applied online. I interviewed at Kirkland & Ellis (New York, NY)
Interview
In-office interview a couple of days after phone interview. Met with three people from the department. Administrative/proofreading test was required before interview. Overall a pretty standard interview process, but a little stiff/intimidating if you're not used to such a large company.

Interview
I had an initial screening interview for a Human Resources Assistant role at Kirkland
& Ellis. The conversation itself was professional and seemed to go well, and at the end of the interview I was told I would hear back “early next week.” Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up or update on my application status afterward.
I understand firms are busy and not every candidate moves forward, but clearer communication or even a standard rejection email would have been appreciated, especially after taking the time to interview. The experience left me VERY disappointed given the firm's otherwise professional reputation.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kirkland & Ellis (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2018
Interview
First, I had a phone interview. Second, I came in the office for an excel and proofreading test and had 3 interviews. A few days later I came in the office for another round of interviews.
