It was overall a negative but interesting experience. It is very clear that the company is in flux and that the employees are uncertain and unhappy about what this change has meant for them. It was clear that they were trying to paint things in a positive light but that they felt differently.
Two phone interviews and one site interview. It is a very weird experience having someone who came for a professional interview put on loads of safety gear for a plant tour; they might want to save that for after hire unless it's a plant centered position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When has Meritocracy been applied in your professional life and what was your experience with it.
Not very difficult, but very time consuming. Workday's application layout is outdated and time consuming. Need to upload resume but the auto filling options doesn't work very well. So you end up typing it out again.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard intro, role motivation, key skills and tools and projects were discussed.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
Spoke with a recruiter on the phone for a screen and never heard back on a decision (whether that was yes or no). No follow up and I didn't feel the recruiter was equipped to answer questions and was rushed.
The interview process was straightforward and relaxed. The questions were clear and mostly focused on my background, skills, and experiences. There were also a few behavioral questions, which allowed me to showcase how I would handle specific situations. The interviewer was friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the conversation. Overall, it was a pleasant and efficient experience.
