We use its extensions for building various web applications on top of the Jakarta EE platform. We can also just use its dependency injection provisions in simple standalone applications.

Interview
15 minute phone screen with hr. Standard phone screen questions. Followed by 2-3 in person 1 hour interviews. 3-4 person panel who ask standard behavior based interview questions. Panel is Director, General Manager, and HR Manager.

Describe a time when you led a company initiative.
Received an e-mail almost immediately to set up a phone screen. Hiring manager was not at all knowledgeable regarding this position. Took them 3 weeks to send me an auto generated e-mail that I wasn't selected.
Never recieved an interview. Recruiter reached out to me and asked for my availability for a phone interview. I replied within 3 hours with over 30 hours of available time within requested time frame. No reply from recruiter. After 6 days, I reached out again to inquire if the position was still available. Again no answer. Cannot believe they would treat a qualified applicant like this
