I had a series of six to seven interviews with different people on the team, including the CEO who was nice and seemed passionate about the work. This was after giving several references, three work samples, and having an introductory interview with the hiring manager who didn't seem to have a strong idea on what the position would actually be doing. I'm not at all disappointed about not receiving the job offer, but I am very disappointed in never hearing back at all after putting so much time, energy, and resources into their interview process. It should be common courtesy to let a candidate who has clearly moved to the final stage know that you have moved on and it's quite sad that respect was not extended to me given that I enjoyed learning about their company and am quite passionate about the work they do there.
