Interview process was standard. Initial screening call with an internal recruiter, followed by an interview with the team manager, and then another with a senior associate on the team. Interviews weren't very difficult, focused on my background in IR and what I knew about the firm. The entire process was pretty quick, one call a week. However, the most disappointing aspect of the process was the team essentially ghosted me towards the end of the interview process. I understand if they found potentially a better fit for the role, but there was never an email from anyone on the LPL side on the status of my application after the third interview. A simple email from the recruiter or LPL letting the applicant know they were no longer moving forward with an application is better than completely going dark on an applicant with no notification. It's unfortunate the company didn't have the courtesy to let me know I was no longer in the running.
