I interviewed at LUSH North America (North Vancouver, BC)
Interview
They asked questions outside of the traditional interview setting. They also asked a lot about how i would improve the current store. So make sure to visit and come up with ideas
The interview process was intentional and gave a true reflection of what working for the company would be like. Definitely appreciated each phase. The initial screen is a video interview and every other phase is with a person.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at LUSH North America (Atlanta, GA) in May 2025
Interview
I applied for the store manager position and received an email a week or so later to set up a phone interview. During the phone interview I set up the culture interview for a couple days later. I received an email the following Monday to set up a final video interview the next day. During the process I was told on multiple occasions that lush wants to make sure you understand why you aren’t selected if that is the choice. I was told “it’s not no it’s not right now” and that I would not be “left in the ether” if they decided to not move forward with me. After the final interview I was told that she would be making that decision this week and that I would hear from her either way by the next week. As of now it’s been 3 weeks and I have heard nothing. After one week I reached out via email and have gotten no response. Honestly this is behavior I would expect from most companies, but after multiple times of telling me they would let me know either way it’s really disappointing to be completely ghosted by the hiring team. They could have easily replied to the email at the very least. I really thought I would have a different experience with lush as everyone had seemed very nice and personable and in my opinion the interviews went well, so it’s really disappointing that they didn’t even have the decency to let me know.
As of today the job posting has been removed so I can only assume they filled the role.
