A hiring manager reached out to me after applying through the company website. The first interview was with this hiring manager, and a second interview ~1 week later was with the direct line manager for the position.

The first interview was informal conversation. I was informed ahead of time that the second interview would utilize the STAR format, but it was implemented in a more conversational 1:1 style.

Screening call then scheduled interview. Interview included basic STAR interview questions gauging project and client management capacity , followed by a role play scenario to gauge communication. Interviewee will not receive the role play scenario prior to interview

Interview
After submitting my CV, I had a short introductory phone call with HR. This was followed by a second online interview with two line managers, which lasted about an hour. The interview was competency-based, using the STAR method, and concluded with a challenging role play. The overall application process was very smooth, and communication with HR was consistently excellent and fast.
