On Friday, I was sent an email to arrange a phone interview for the following week. I responded with my availabilities. On Monday evening I received a second, separate email saying to ignore the previous request for a phone interview. Several days later I received a third email inviting me to a phone interview again. I again sent my preferred times and, this time, I received a response from the recruiter and we had a pleasant phone interview. Most questions related to my experience in the field, but they also asked me about my salary expectations--so be prepared for that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Labcorp (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
The interview process itself was fairly straightforward, but they scheduled my Zoom interview at 6am, which was a first for me! They mentioned I would hear back within a few days, but I ended up having to follow up myself multiple times before finally receiving a rejection email.
I’m not upset about being rejected, that’s part of the process , but the lack of communication was disappointing. If you’re asking candidates to make themselves available at 6am to accommodate your schedule, the least you can do is communicate clearly and follow through on the timeline you set.
