I applied online and was asked to complete an online evaluation. I liked this, as it felt like it may save the both of us time if I would not be a good fit. I was contacted for an interview, which took place via zoom with one of their recruiters. We had a lovely conversation and I found her to be professional and insightful. I felt good about the position. One week later I was contacted for a second interview. This interview included 3 folks; same level as the position, their supervisor, and their supervisor’s supervisor. I enjoyed the interview and felt like it went well. I never heard from them again. After two weeks I sent a polite email asking whether the position had been filled and did not receive a response. This may be the norm now, but I found being “ghosted” unprofessional after the assessment and two rounds of interviews. Even an automated rejection would be appreciated.
