      Enterprise Knowledge Operations Manager Interview

      24 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Morrisville, NC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lenovo (Morrisville, NC) in Feb 2026

      Interview

The process started well and ended very poorly. I applied via referral link, 3 weeks later received an invite for a screening call with Talent Acquisition Specialist, at the end of the screening call scheduled an interview with the hiring manager, interviewed with the hiring manager two days later. The screening call was mostly about my experience and interest in the role, and the hiring manager interview was more informational about the role and less interview-like. At the end of the initial screening call, when looking at scheduling the next interview, I mentioned I was flexible with my availability because I'm currently on maternity leave and the Talent Acquisition Specialist started to essentially talk me out of the role. They said, "Are you sure you're up to this role? You might have to take some 8PM meetings. I have another role that's more 'chill' you might be a good fit for." I highly doubt they would have said this to a man who said they were currently on paternity leave. After the hiring manager interview, the Talent Acquisition Specialist said they wanted to schedule another panel interview with me, but the team I need to speak with would be out of the office the following week so she'll get back to me to schedule it. A week later I followed up, and then a week after that I followed up again, and I received no communication. A full month later I received an email saying the role was moved to be based in China.
