I was contacted via LinkedIn and scheduled a call with their internal recruiter the same day. The call was pretty standard, I went through my most recent work experience and was given more context about the role. I was asked to update my CV and portfolio and send it to the recruiter within 24 hours, which I did. I did this in my spare time/evening, as I’m working full-time, which the recruiter was aware of. I haven’t heard back from them since. This is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. I would have expected a standard „sorry, not interested“ email. I politely asked for an update about 2 weeks later and didn’t get an answer. I may have dodged a bullet, but I was surprised that an organisation of this size and reputation could be this unprofessional.
