I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl in Dec 2017
Interview
Telephone interview call.. the interviewer was so lovely and nice which really helped my nerves. Overall simple process just asked a few questions about how my experience from university would apply to the job role and a few competency based questions. Got invited to the Assessment centre stage a few weeks later.

Question 1
How experience from university applied to the job role and why I thought I was right for the job
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lidl (Doncaster, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
cover letter and application, then video interview, then assessment centre which consisted of - interview, networking event, and solo presentation. the networking event consisted of talking to other graduates and various higher ups in the company and wasnt as scary as it sounds. the presentation was centred around visiting your local lidl and putting together a presentation around 3 things that you think could be improved in the store
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked many scenario based questions i.e. if the store launched a new donut and it performed poorly how would you address this
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Dublin, Dublin) in Sept 2022
Interview
Easy online process, with general role suitability and past experience questions. The interviewees were pleasant and receptive to questions regarding the programme and its specifics. Stressed from the start that the programme would begin in a local store where you would spend a period working as a store assistant
Applied online via company website then had to complete several online tests. No feedback was offered after completing them just a rejection email a couple of days later, with no reason given. Exactly what you would expect from a organisation that's all about the people at the top.
