The first interview with the recruiter was great, with a pleasant conversation about my experiences and the job. However, the subsequent interview with the hiring manager was unpleasant. He was late and on the phone, seemed disinterested, and interrupted me frequently, giving the impression that he didn't want to be there. As expected, I didn't proceed to the next stage, and the technical interview was canceled. A major red flag for the position was the manager's strong preference for Uber RIBs, an outdated architecture from 2018, and their application, revamped in 2018, still containing a significant portion written in Java.
