    Recruitment Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LloydsPharmacy (Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)) in January 2017.

    Interview

Interview went very well, met with HR manager for an hour chat. Was placed in by an agency who said they needed role filled quickly. No word back then after this, not to me or the agency. Actually shocked by how un-professional this was. Agency say they have not had word back either, so in the dark on what actually happened.

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at LloydsPharmacy (Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)) in April 2016.

    Interview

Speed and accuracy test, English language test, recruitment skills test and 1st face to face interview all on-site during the first meeting, 2nd face to face interview. The whole process from application to 2nd interview took approx. 2 months, without any updates in between. No contact after the 2nd round at all, not even email saying "you didn't get a job", no feedback whatsoever, even after asking for it. Very badly managed process, hopefully it works better inside the company.

    Pharmacist Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Brighton, England
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LloydsPharmacy (Brighton, England) in May 2015.

    Interview

A non-pharmacist manager asked some very basic questions about previous job experience. As they had no clinical, legal or ethical background in pharmacy, they did not ask any questions that you would expect to hear in a pharmacist competency interview. It was more like applying for a job at Next. I was asked about my personality and preferences.
There is no robust personality test like at Boots, no phone interview. It was one of the easiest interviews I ever experienced. Perhaps alarm bells should have been ringing? A job was offered in less than 24 hours.

    Interview Questions

    • Oddly my interviewer talked more about the company, rather than ask me questions. He did question what I knew about their different services, suppliers and brands.   1 Answer
