Very informal process. Don't expect to hear back from an HR department or get timely responses. Managers interview and reach out whenever they have availability. I was led to believe until very late in the interview process that my salary expectations were within the bounds of what they expected. I went a little higher than my floor, as a competitive move. Then after my 4th time interviewing, one day later, I received an email saying they can't meet my salary range. No offer, nothing else. I replied saying I was flexible and even offered a new salary range that if they hit that floor would have been less compensation than what I'm making now at my current job. But they never got back to me. I was very disappointed. The interview itself was easy, they only asked a few questions about me personally and my work career. TLDR: Don't expect for them to give you competitive salaries.
