I had an initial phone screen, followed by a video interview with the hiring manager. I then completed a project/copy test and went into the office in Stamford to present it to two people on the team. I was supposed to meet with another person that day, but they were called into a meeting. Everybody was very kind, and the interviews were fair, but what bothered me was that I presented on November 19th. On December 1st, I got an email saying, "I should have updates for you later today - stay tuned! 🙂," which made me hopeful for good news. I did not hear from them again until January 13th (despite numerous emails), at which point I was told they were going to continue looking for other candidates. It was unkind to make me wait almost two months for a response. I'm sure there was more going on behind the scenes, but even still, I don't think companies should treat candidates like that.
