I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Loyalty Research Center (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
The resume-submission & phone interview process stretched out (which is pretty normal these days) for a month, then the in-person interview was a bit overbearing. I could handle it, but did they really need to have 4 guys sitting across from me for well over an hour? There was a stressed-out, intense vibe. It might scare away some solid hires, since it didn't seem like most of the job would involve being grilled by a group very often. I didn't notice much diversity in the office, either. I was still interested, however, and felt it would be an interesting role where I could contribute and grow a lot. They didn't reply back for over a week. In the end, I just got a generic "thank you but we went with another candidate" email. I was disappointed, but eventually I found something else that I like. I hope they are happy with whoever they did hire, because despite the tense demeanor, they all seemed like nice people doing good work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Background: We have a client that is seeing healthy year-over-year growth in terms of its client base, yet has seen two consecutive years of declines in customer satisfaction.
Lacking any additional details, what are potential hypotheses as to what could be driving this contrast between client growth and client satisfaction? Be prepared to discuss your hypotheses and how you could potentially test those hypotheses, and be prepared to respond to follow-up questions from the LRC team.
