I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MSCI (Mumbai)
Interview
very rigorous round of interview ( close to 10 rounds ) from various VP, ED & MD's. In my initial round i had to give presentation on a specific topic ( Risk ) and this was followed by series of telephonic interviews with seniors in London , NY
Six rounds of interviews, I think it feels excessive for a mid-managerial position. Maybe it’s meant to spread out the decision but it’s a huge investment of time for the candidate. 3-4 should be more than enough for VP level.
Very comfortable interviewer was polite but asked the right questions including technical ones . Had 3 interviews. The Talent acquisition team can however be unresponsive at times on status updates A lot of interviewing was based on technical knowledge

Interview process is rigorous at MSCI with relevant and good questions from the leadership. So, the preparation needs to be done well on the resume and subject matter. Hope this helps!
