I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at MappedIn (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
Quick screen by HR followed by a very short interview by the hiring manager. Seems they were looking for a person to just write case studies vs. someone who could execute programs on the full lifecycle of the customer. I brought up their CRM, emails, onboarding, referrals, targeted campaigns, etc., but they were hyper-focused on wanting someone who could write case studies, even though they just hired a content person. The interviewer was kind and friendly but didn’t seem very enthusiastic, and sadly, the conversation didn’t flow naturally. It’s hard to get to know someone in 30 minutes. The company seems super cool though. It would have been a lot of fun to market their product.

Interview
General 'getting to know you' stage of the interview getting background information and qualifications. 15 minute interview regarding preview work and personal experience, why you would be a good fit, strengths and weaknesses, etc.

Interview
Fairly straightforward interview process, not too technically challenging. Got along well with the hiring manager and recruiter but ultimately did not receive an offer. Process is phone screen -> interview with hiring manager -> interview with CTO (didn't make it here)
