I interviewed on Meritto on 13th July, I was having an 8.4LPA offer for which HR told that their budget is a bit less but she can push upto 9. There were three f2f rounds, the tech team was really great and comforting, they were even helping if you get lost somewhere, so hats off to them. I interviewed for PHP developer role. After clearing the rounds, they asked me for documents which I submitted on 14th. After reviewing the documents, the HR told me that they can only offer me a 7.5 LPA which was less than my current CTC. She told me it was because my salary from current company are inconsistent(there were some rewards/penalty system in current organization, that's why). I refused thier offer of course, but I believe this culture of judging a candidate on previous salaries needs to be dismissed.
