In general, the most difficult questions for Marketers at Microsoft center around being able to clearly explain both a success and a failure, as well as being able to problem-solve real time. Many times there's a problem proposed that will be either very specific to the role, or more generic. Successful candidates will "show their work" in terms of how to lay out a proposed fix or campaign to resolve the issue presented.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (Sydney) in Jul 2021
Interview
Complex with many rounds with multiple managers and stakeholders. I joined several years ago so the screening process has become more streamlined and compact. Candidates should now expect screening interview from HR and then 2-4 interviews with panel members allocated specific areas to question followed by a senior leader final interview. Then offer walk thru by HR.
