The process was promising and positive initially. It became disappointing when there was a two-week gap between the first interview with the recruiter and next steps (after submitting the writing sample), after I was told that the following interview would be within a few days. The recruiter was positive with a great attitude, but the delay in communication--and ultimately, the team's decision to go in a different direction--make the overall experience less positive.
