      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MongoDB (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2020

      Interview

I had a very smooth and efficient interview process experience. I was interviewed for Ireland, Dublin branch. There were 4 rounds of interview out of which I successfully made until 3. The first round was situational or practical scenario based wherein you are presented a particular real-time problem from the customer end and you need to address it as soon as possible. It was easy and anyone who does the homework on what exactly MongoDB delivers and their website in and out, can easily crack the first round. Round 2 was highly technical. I was mainly tested on all the basics of the Computer Networking, some basic Cloud computing related questions, basic database related questions. Also, most questions were based on the skills mentioned in the CV. Round 3 - Had 3 back to back 1 hr calls from HR, Technical HR and Hiring Manager. Just like a normal candidate I was a nit nervous in this round. But it was like a piece of a cake! It went very smooth. They mostly ask you behavioural question in this round in order to anticipate on how you might react to a particular situation. Also, know your CV thoroughly as the Technical HR dives in deep to know what exactly is your best skill! I was expecting a call for the 4th round as everything went up to the mark. However, they went ahead with the candidate who had good experience in this domain. I honestly enjoyed the interview process as a fresher. Although I didn't end up with an offer, it gave me the confidence and clarity to work on myself.
