Our business is growing quickly and it’s imperative that we do an outstanding job of finding and on-boarding world-class talent. Clearly, the interview process took far too long in your case, leaving you with a less than favorable impression of our company. We apologize for our mis-step.
After reviewing your experience from April (almost 1 year ago), we are encouraged that several aspects you highlighted have already been addressed. At the time you interviewed, the office was still less than a year old and we did not yet have a Madrid-based resource focused on recruiting. Since making this improvement, we’ve substantially increased the processing speed from application to decision.
While we’ve accelerated the decision-making timeline, we do still require multiple interactions (between phone and in-person interviews) before we get to that decision. While we appreciate that this is a significant time investment – for both the candidate and for MotionPoint – we believe everyone benefits when we do the work needed to get the decision right.
Your comment about the interview you had with the person in London is disappointing. This too has been corrected, as that person no longer works at MotionPoint.
