I applied through other source. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System in Mar 2020
Interview
Very nice, conversational interviews. I prepared by answering the stereotypical questions but wasn’t even asked any of them. It was more conversational and them telling me about the job and asking if I had certain experiences.
Hiring process depends on your team, but 1:1 screening call with the hiring manager and on-site back-to-back panel interview with the rest of the team. The panels included a peer culture fit interview and interview with physicians you'd be working with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Introduce yourself and how do you handle multiple communication styles.
There were 2 steps to the process:
step 1: direct manager questions about experience, projects etc, why you're interested
step 2: direct manager and colleague questions about experience, projects etc
the interview process was great. takes a while to onboard. Overall the process was very straight forward. The onboarding team was very open to questions. There are a lot of things to turn in.
