I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at N26 (Paris) in Nov 2016
Interview
First Interview with an HR employee. All good and easy. Just reviewed my CV and told me a bit more about the company (nothing I did not know yet).
Second interview was more complicated. Was asked about major trends in todays banking industry as a whole and then specifically about the retail sector. Then some consultancy style business questions, which I was not acclaimed to and frankly did not prepare for...
The guy was kind enough to tell me straight away that they would stop the interview process at that point... I don't think I was completely bad but I did not answer quickly and precisely each and every time either. So make sure you structure your arguments well and try to anticipate some business case questions...
I applied online. I interviewed at N26 (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
Video Call: HR and COO were out of tune. Delayed twice. Very disorganized and relayed conflicting info. Job was supposed to be based in Berlin, but then told Asia and South America. COO arrogant know-it-all and could tell this was the only thing he has succeeded at professionally. Fast paced company, growing like a week in a good sector but little regard for long term employee loyalty and care. Be careful here.

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at N26 (Berlin) in May 2017
Interview
I applied through my school Job Portal, it took them around 1 month to get back to me, but after it was all really fast (2.5 weeks of total recruiting process). First interview was with the International Team manager, about 45 min. A lot of it was about my previous working experience and my motivation. Then some questions about N26 product (a lot on the account opening procedure) to end with a small brain teaser (what's the angle between the watch hands when it's 3:15?). Second and third interviews with 2 managers of the team (around 30 min each), again about my past, and a lot about costs and revenues connected with N26 users. Small business cases and brain teaser. Last interview with the country manager, on the same blueprint of the previous ones, with a estimation case in the end.
