I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Studio City, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interview was very laid back and the office environment seemed laid back as well but I was sure to wear professional attire. The interview was done in one of their office room. The day to day work of the internship was described to me as archiving images and updating metadata for photos. It was stressed that you will not be taking photos during this internship but there may be opportunities to assist the photographer who does take photos of cast members and the sets of NBC shows. But overall the position consists of working in the office going through photos and maintaining the cleanliness of the office. I was asked about my experiences in photography and if I knew how to use editing softwares.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
The interview for me was very simple. I think it depends on your direct supervisor. My interview was more so a "Get to know me" kind of phone call. My boss was trying to determine if we would work well together because we would be spending every day together for the duration of my internship. It was very casual and he asked me about my experience an goals for my internship.
