I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Navigation Solutions (Plano, TX)
Interview
Pretty typical. Had phone interview with recruiter followed with on site interview with hiring manager. This was followed by second interview with CFO and hiring manager. Process took about two days and the phone interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Navigation Solutions (Bloomfield Hills, MI)
Interview
Arrive at the receptionist's desk. Was placed in a large conference room, which afterwords seemed a little silly. I only spoke with two people, the team lead and a software engineer from another group.
Started with some simple culture questions, and questions about my then-ongoing education. Moved to a written coding test. A mishmash of questions, revolving around C and C++ topics.

Question 1
How could you determine via C code whether the system you were on was big vs little endian.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Navigation Solutions (Plano, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
Conventional/interview with hiring manager. Prior to this, I had a telephone interview with a human resources person. Nothing too tricky and mostly covering background and skill set. The manager seemed competent as did the human resources person.

Question 1
As mentioned above, nothing too tricky, mostly a review of experience and skill set.
