Overall the process was very smooth ans quick. Short call with HR, followed by behavioural and cognitive tests and interview with hiring manager and HR again. Should the process be continued, there should have been another interview. However, my process was stopped here. HR called me to inform about that which was a very nice gesture. Usualy, companies only send an email to say they chose someone else.
During the interview I felt that it was more ‘official’ and the positions has already been decided, the hiring manager did not go into much detail of the relevant experience I had. I scored in top 1 percentile in cognitive test, I have 10 years of relevant experience, world wide recognized certificate, yet it’s a no due to ‘lack of some knowledge’. I can accept a ‘no’ of course, but due to lack of knowledge is very strange this time. I feel that internal hiring is such a norm in the company that you hardly can get a position coming from outside, regardless your experience or CV.
