The first interview was with an engineer from NetApp on Zoom. He started asking about my experience and what I do at my job and asks a couple of questions about it.
He then asked me a couple of technical questions, one of them I answered correctly, the other one, he had to help me reach the answer, but it was ok, because I passed to the next phase.
In the second interview, a new engineer asks me in more detail about my current job and some technical questions about it like, how does I2C work or questions about Linux kernel development.
After this, he asks me some questions about some code he writes while sharing his screen and, with some help from him, I answer all of his questions.
I got a rejection email a couple of days after this interview and, when asking about feedback on why I was rejected, the recruiter offered to give me a call, something no other company had ever done to me. In the call, he explained that I didn't have as much experience as they would have like but he encourages me to apply for a new job soon.
