I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NetEase Games in Nov 2019
Interview
4 Rounds of Interview:
Round 1: basic introduction and interest in gaming
Round 2: basic business acumen & behavior
Round 3: chat with the hiring manager
Round 4: chat with the department head
The interview was fairly informal. Interviewers are all managers who have deep industry knowledge, so doing extensive industry research is key.

Question 1
Pick a game in the market and tell me how you can develop a new business strategy for the game?
There are 3 rounds in the interview process: 1st - HR phone interview; 2nd - hiring manager onsite; 3rd - remote video call with management in Guangzhou. The interview was pretty smooth and friendly but I didn't take the job offer in the end because the salary is lower than my expectation.
