I applied online. I interviewed at Nielsen (Cincinnati, OH) in Sept 2009
Interview
Initial Phone Screening with HR is pretty standard, not much technical questions. They do test your aptitude for marketing analytics via conceptual questions.
If you clear the screening, there is a written test that is given to you. This is mostly quantitative questions with an essay in the end.
2nd round was with 5 professionals within the Custom Analytics department. The interviewers ranged from Snr Analysts to VPs. The questions revolved around general marketing concepts and some statistical techniques, especially linear regression.
