I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2020
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviewing with take home market research to complete. They ask you to make a presentation for the final interview on basically why they should hire you and how you are going to build your client base. It seemed like they just wanted to make sure you actually wanted the position and were willing to do some homework.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would you be willing to reach out to family and friends as potential clients?
Series of interviews that began with an information session, followed by a basic "get to know you" interview where you learn more about the position, followed by a final interview
Straight forward and easy. Consisted of a call and a zoom interview. First with a recruiter and then with a full time rep that was part of the internship. Fairly easy and straight forward.
Sales focused interview. Need to provide a list of 200 people and their contact info to pass the interview, and once you're hired you'll have to contact all those people.
