NovaTech interview questions

I applied online on a job portal. A person from the company reached out to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview went well. After the phone interview I never heard back from the person after asking a couple times for an update. Not very professional.

I applied and and about a year later a recruiting firm coordinated the interview with HR. The hiring manager called on the phone to discuss opportunities. I had certain positions in mind and emphasized my experience in areas that were relevant.
