I had an interview scheduled for Friday at 8:00 AM. At 8:01 AM, I received a calendar cancellation along with a follow-up email stating they needed to reschedule and would reach out with a time that worked for both of us.
I followed up Sunday evening, and on Monday morning I was informed that they had decided not to move forward with interviewing me. While I understand that hiring priorities can change, I invested a significant amount of time preparing and would have appreciated earlier notice if they no longer planned to proceed with my interview.
Overall, the experience felt discouraging and could have been improved with clearer communication and better consideration for candidates’ time.
