After having an initial chat with a recruiter, I was given two technical phone screens. First was a medium difficulty problem. Second was an easy problem, but interviewer expected me to know the assumptions he made. The same second interviewer also showed up 10 mins late. After coming online, I could see him on video and he clearly had an attitude. He had a smirk on his face the whole time. I wrote a decent solution and tried to make it better, but the interviewer wasn't interested. The company definitely doesn't care about your background or interests. If you can write perfect code in 30 mins, OfferUp's your place. Overall, I just sense that these engineers must be very insecure.
