      Provider Relations Liaison Interview

      5 Aug 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Stockton, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Omni IPA (Stockton, CA)

      Interview

Interviewed by a panel of 6 including the COO and the Controller, as well as eventually the CEO of the company. It was very thorough. The staff was even involved. The Health Plan had never had a PR staff, so I was their first. I was expected to resolve all of the issues that had accumulated since the beginning, and many of the problems were quite complex.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Probably the most unexpected question was "How would I handle a provider who was difficult to deal with, who would not listen to reason regarding rates, or lack of increase?"
